About Amy

Amy Manford is well known globally for her portrayal as ‘Christine Daaé’ in Andrew Lloyd Webbers, The Phantom of the Opera. She most recently performed the role in Opera Australia’s 2022/23 production at The Sydney Opera House off the back of performing in Athens, Greece and the original West End production in London.

She has toured around the world with Classical Crossover legend Andrea Bocelli and recently made her US debut at the iconic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

Amy has been honoured to sing the Australian National Anthem for the 2021 AFL Grand Final and for King Charles at Buckingham Palace in London. She also was recently awarded ‘Creative of the Year’ at the 2023 Marie Claire Women of the Year awards.

Amy is a director and co-producer at MM Creative Productions, who recently toured Disney’s 100th anniversary concert (Disney 100; The Concert) around Australia which premiered at the Sydney Opera House in 2023.

Around this time, Amy was thrilled to release her debut EP, A Dream Is A Wish; A collection of Disney favourites reimagined. It was produced by the legendary, Ron Fair and released via the Orchard in March 2023.

Amy holds a Masters in Performance from the Royal College of Music, London and a Bachelor of Music from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
